Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a System Test Manager to support the AFLCMC/HNJT division at Hanscom AFB, MA. The System Test Manager will support system integration and test activities for program requirements. The engineer will develop and execute test scripts, test plans, and capabilities - based testing cases towards validation of the system requirements. The Engineer will have the ability to support system engineering processes to ensure requirements are testable, to develop test plans and procedures, and to allocate requirements to test levels, test methodologies, test cases, and test steps. This engineer will provide technical guidance and review as needed throughout the system acquisition life cycle.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Experience with writing and executing use and test cases
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong commitment to learning
• Ability to work in team environment while leading efforts
• Ability to work with software engineers to make critical design decisions and direction for web application requirements based off end user operational experience
• Demonstrated ability to work multiple project efforts and interface with multiple contractors at all levels

Background & Experience:

• Experience using XML parsing, Java or C#.NET to research, evaluate and develop test cases
• Experience with secure programming techniques and secure system design
• SAR/SAP experience desired
• Possess a comprehensive knowledge on best practices of the requirements process and the entire product life cycle
• Software development experience; both waterfall and agile software development

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility

Education: Master's Degree in Engineering or related technical field

Years’ experience: 3-10 years of experience in IT software testing to include developing and implementing test plans, test procedures, and test reports

Certifications: Security

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: CISSP

Additional Information:

Location: Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH 

Travel: Frequent travel (CONUS) 3-5 days per month
